About

Beth fell in love with baking when she started working with her personal chef husband, Darrell, and their company, Seasons Personal Chef. She started her cottage bakery business as part of SPC. Baking morning pastries and desserts for tourists visiting Charleston was fun, but she soon felt the draw to include her community in her sweet tasting world.

Beth, a social introvert, describes baking as “its own unique therapy” allowing her to contribute positively to the lives of others while creatively practicing an art of her own. With a strong emphasis on taste and texture, Beth sticks with simpler decorating methods, focusing primarily on the quality of ingredients and the enjoyment of her clients when they taste her fresh baked products.

Encouraged by a client to dive into the world of gluten-free, sugar-free and dairy free baking, Beth appreciates the challenges of creating beautiful and flavorful baked goods while respecting the individual needs of clients with food allergies and lifestyle choices. She continues to add baked goods to her menu that support those specialty needs of her community.

While Beth loves baking for family and friends, she appreciates the opportunity to share her goods with her local community and the many visitors to Charleston every year.
